Welcome to Creed’s Corner

By  |

This is it!  The inaugural posting of Creed’s Corner.  (If you have a better name, I am, like Obama, all ears).  My name is Creed, and I will be writing a political/current events blog for RollinSD.com.  I am an unapologetic conservative and a strong believer in free market capitalism.  I know that in some parts of this country making a statement like that will automatically get you branded a racist, bigoted homophobe.  Well, I’m none of the above, but I won’t apologize for believing that it’s not my responsibility to pay to clothe, feed and care for anyone that comes into this country illegally.  I don’t have a problem with gay people either, but I don’t want your sexuality thrown in my face.  I won’t ask and you don’t tell.  Most importantly, disagreeing with Obama’s policies and systematic destruction of this country does not make me racist.  I do not claim to be a great writer, but I may make more sense than the mainstream media, so I hope you’ll start following my posts.

I don’t know how much/often I will be writing, but with as many things as Obama and the federal government is screwing up on, literally, a daily basis, I may end up writing a lot.  If you like what you read, please pass a link onto your friends.  If you don’t like what I write, then send me an angry email so I can delete it without reading it.  You can reach me at creed@rollingsd.com.

I’ll be covering everything from illegal immigration and healthcare to the mid-term elections and taxes, from the decimation of our Constitution to the wars in the Middle East, and from the bailouts to the invasion of special interest groups (i.e., unions) in the White House.  Speaking of unions; Andy Stern, the former president of SEIU (Service Employee International Union), visited the White House more than anyone else in 2009, including the vice president, members of Obama’s cabinet, and the leaders of his party.

On June 17th I head to New Orleans for a much needed break with my best friend from law school, so I’ll be sure to take lots of pics to post and get some insight into the epic disaster that is the BP Gulf oil spill.  I’ll take this opportunity to post a link that makes an argument for why it’s Bill Clinton’s fault:  http://video.foxnews.com/v/4232339/bill-clinton-to-blame-for-bp-leak

There are many reasons why I am conservative, but I wanted to start with one reason why it’s easy to be a conservative.  Who would you rather have cocktails at a fundraiser with? Creed
